Terms of Service for Attain FI

Rational Points, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a Google Workspace™ add-on, "Attain FI", that integrates with Google Sheets™ to automatically import your bank transactions directly into a spreadsheet.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Attain FI and outline your rights and responsibilities when using our service. By installing or using Attain FI, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our service.

We may update these Terms periodically, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

  1. Eligibility & User Responsibilities

    • You must have a valid Google account and comply with Google’s policies.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
    • You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or disrupting service operations.
  2. Use of Services

    • Attain FI enables users to connect financial accounts via Plaid and manage data within Google Sheets.
    • We do not provide financial advice, and our service is intended for informational purposes only.
    • You acknowledge that financial data retrieved via Plaid is subject to the terms and conditions of your financial institution.
    • You may not use Attain FI for unlawful purposes.
  3. Data Handling & Privacy

    • We collect and process only the data necessary to provide our service. Details are outlined in our Privacy Policy.
    • We do not store financial transaction data on our servers; all data remains within your Google Sheets environment.
    • Plaid access tokens are used solely to retrieve your financial data and are protected through encryption.
  4. Third-Party Services

    Attain FI relies on third-party services, including:

    • Google: For distribution, authentication, data storage, and backend processing.
    • Plaid: To connect to financial institutions and retrieve transaction data.
    • Stripe: To securely process subscription payments.

    Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

  5. Limitation of Liability

    • Attain FI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
    • We are not responsible for financial losses, inaccuracies in data, or disruptions in third-party services.
    • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rational Points, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of Attain FI.
  6. Termination

    • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
    • Users may discontinue using Attain FI at any time.
    • Upon termination, your access to Attain FI will be revoked, and any stored Plaid access tokens will be deactivated.
  7. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated through our website or via email. Continued use of Attain FI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

  8. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with these laws.
